Oct. 22, 2017 started out as the happiest day in Gina Francica’s life. After 13 years of courtship, Gina and her sweetheart were set to be married in Neptune Beach, Florida, in an all-white affair. It was 11 a.m. and Francica and her daughter were heading for their salon appointments in preparation for the evening wedding.
